CLOWNVETS
SPECIAL SCREENING WITH AWARD PRESENTATION

Please purchase a ticket to the Clownvets March 7th screening at the California Theatre to attend.

Each year, one of Cinequest’s world’s most life-affirming films receives the coveted Kaiser Permanente Thrive Award. Kaiser and Cinequest proudly present the World Premiere of Clownvets as this year’s winner.

As founder of the Gesundheit! Institute, Patch Adams has led groups of humanitarians around the world, to help heal veterans suffering from PTSD for almost fifty years. Each year, Adams and his groups of volunteers travel to various countries, where they dress as clowns in an effort to bring humor to orphans, patients, and many others.

Clownvets follow Adams and one such group on a mission to Guatemala, where their red noses connect to men and women, reminding the heroes that we all deserve love, compassion, and laughter.

Cinequest is thrilled o present not only the inspirational Clownvets but to also welcome Patch Adams, himself, along with the film’s artists. This is a MUST ATTEND event on the evening of Thursday, March 7th at the California Theatre.
