North Carolina native Jenny Webb is a multitalented musician, vocalist, and songwriter with a drive and passion for music like no other. Starting with piano at age 4 and discovering her vocal abilities at age 8, she began her early days exploring traditional hymns and receiving classical training as a first soprano. With her enchanting voice and eloquence on keys, her prowess as a songwriter began to manifest in 2014. Taking influences from a multitude of artists and genres, such as Dolly Parton, Heart, Tori Amos, Rob Thomas, and even Eminem, she has cultivated a sound and style that is as unique and refreshing as the woman herself.

With Jenny as the front woman and lead songwriter, Diamonds and Whiskey, a country-rock quintet based in Charlotte, NC, has already received recognition for their first album, Heartbreak Queen. The single “Hands Down” was awarded Country Single of the Year by the Carolina Country Music Association, a lyric penned by Jenny and brought to life by her band mates. Diamonds and Whiskey will be spreading their music across the United States on tour in 2020.

“Walk On” is a step away from the Diamonds and Whiskey brand into more heartfelt storytelling of the struggles with Alzheimer’s. Accompanied by Diamonds and Whiskey bandmate and classically trained, Siberian-born violinist Elena, Jenny shows again her versatility and ability to connect with her audience on the subject matter which not all may be familiar. Elena’s violin expertise has been cultivated from age six, with influences from Master violinists David Oistrakh and Jascha Heifetz. She also has diversified her playing with influences from Stéphane Grappelli, Miri Ben-Ari, and Gabe Witcher. This unique combination, along with musical chemistry, lends itself to compliment Jenny Webb’s instrumentation and lyricism with tastefully written violin accompaniment.
