Description

Veterinarian Mario and his wife Silvia enjoy a bourgeois life. But, two events will disturb their tranquility. A dog surgery goes wrong for Mario and Silvia discovers retirement . Then, they will be dragged from paranoia to violence and from violence to nonsense.

An elderly veterinarian, Mario, and his retired wife, Sylvia, enjoy a peaceful, idyllic life— until a dog’s death at the clinic and Sylvia’s sheer paranoia trigger a series of unfortunate events that turn their lives upside down. Sylvia convinces Mario to believe one of her crazy conspiracy theories– which results in conflict between their daughter and her husband, who have generously welcomed them into their home. Watch as events turn from simple mistakes, to cover-ups, to street-protests, and finally an accidental killing. This simple-minded elderly couple seems comical and sometimes sinister in this social satire of the petit-bourgeois lifestyle. – Pratibha Kelapure.
