Searching for their missing sister in a dangerous city, a woman discovers herself.

Rafael, a Cuban boxer, looks for their sister, Isabelle, believing her to have fallen into prostitution in New York City. The city's underworld turns bloody as Rafael continues their quest to liberate his sister from a life of exploitation. And then...something changes, as they begins to present as a transgender woman. A film of many contrasts (Cuba vs. NY City, a chiseled boxer vs. a femme fatale), you will find yourself hooked into this emotionally moving drama. Will Lupe find strength of just a sense of powerlessness? For sure, Lupe will captivate you, and stay with you long after the show is over. -Angela Ettinger
