Don't get into a pissing match with the universe—you won't win.
Borshia, lead singer for the run-of-the-mill Borshettes, is a piece of...ahem...work with a ridiculous sense of entitlement and an ego big enough to create its own (bad) weather. When the phone of one of his few fans rings during a gig, his priceless, over-the-top reaction is one for the ages—you'll never leave your phone on in a concert again. With every door slamming in his face, he decides to end it all. But fate intervenes in the form of Lilly and Bart, an earnest young filmmaker and her shallow, tightly-wound husband, along with their small cast and crew. Borshia returns from the next world transformed—or is he? Saving Borshia is a riotous send-up of independent filmmaking and new-age pomposity. - Pia Chamberlain
