WORLD PREMIERE
An intimate and personal film about the most urgent public health issue we face, which asks at its core - do we value women? And perhaps more importantly - how much do women value themselves?
Almost all medical research is performed on men, even though genetic differences between men and women can matter greatly when it comes to healthcare. Shockingly, most women don’t pay proper attention to the warning signs of an impending heart attack because their symptoms differ greatly from what we typically think of as heart attack symptoms in men. Even scarier, many medical professionals are not aware of these differences. This compelling film follows real women whose lives and families have been disastrously affected by the basic inequity in the diagnosis and care they received. These brutally honest stories, will make you question – do we value women? The facts will alarm you to spring into action, take control, and advocate for justice. – Shari Clare
