Grace (played by multiple Academy Award-nominee Annette Bening) was planning to celebrate three decades of togetherness with her husband in the beautiful countryside in the presence of their beloved son. The couple had their fair share of difficulties, but she did not expect her husband Edward (past Cinequest Maverick Spirit Award recipient Bill Nighy) to leave her for another woman. Beautifully acted and wonderfully crafted by two-time Oscar-nominated director William Nicholson, this film portrays the messiness and complexities that come along with so many years of companionship.
